s/c pulley belt comparison
ok - I've had my s/c pulley on for about 10k miles now and it's time to replace, who's using which size? (without a belt wrap kit)
stock OEM belt
8 rib x 1289mm (or 50.75")
since the S/C pulley is about 5-7mm smaller than OEM - a smaller belt can be used - currently I have a stock belt...
Shardul suggests: Gates # K080496 (8 rib x 49.6")
But some have used this one (not as tight) Gates # K080505 (8 rib x 50.5")
any issues with having a belt that is "too snug"? does it tweak the pulley and/or snout?

A lot of people are running the stock belt on the smaller pullies so any of these would be fine. I personally don't like the idea of running the tensioner at its range limits so it has the lil play to move around as it does in normal driving. I think the 505 keeps it pretty close to where it was originally in its range of motion.
