E63 Moonroof won't close, one side is higher up then other
My buddies 2007 E63 is having an odd moonroof issue. It almost seems like it's off track on one side, which doesn't really make sense. The left side will go into place and the right side won't. It almost looks like it's in tilt mode. It also is just stuck in this position, won't open more or close less. Help?

Tell me it made some clicking sounds while closing. If this is the case look up DIY sunroof fix. The motor for the sunroof has skipped some teeth on one side, the DIY is self explanatory.

Shawn, just seen there is a good writeup in the W211 forum under clicking sound from panoramic sunroof, check it out this guy has the perfect fix for the flexing motor cover.
