Hardware etc needed to install headers?

Just bought a set of used Eurocharged headers off a forum member. I tried contacting Eurocharged but no response.. could anyone tell me what exactly I should pick up before I go to install these headers... gaskets, hardware?

You don't have to do gaskets but I'd highly recommend it since they will already be off. Also some thread locker and maybe a new stud or two since odds are one will break or at least back out during removal.

get the two gaskets as well as the copper nuts from the dealer or autohausz. Some of the bolts may back out as you remove your stock headers.

Yeah I figured it would just be 2 gaskets but the only thing I can find are singles like this: http://www.autohausaz.com/search/pro...ifold%20Gasket

Should I just get 8 of those? (surely a stupid question lol)

The MLS factory exhaust gaskets are reusable, you can spread a thin lyer of copper high temp RTV on them as an extra sealing measure as well.

OK this is what you need

1. OEM copper nuts if you don't plan to reuse your
2. OEM studs
3. 8 gaskets. Replace them you don't want to do labor twice if a used one does not seal

Pointers
1. Disconnect battery, you will be working very close to the starter
2. Don't tighten the individual tubes until the collectors have been aligned.
3. Good time to change your primary O2 sensors if you have high mileage
4. Get the orientation of the tubes correct before installing on each cylinder port.
5. If you are doing this job the first time allocate 2 days for completion

Great pointers ... adding one more:

Check engine mounts. If they are shot, replace those while you are there. If you don't the engine moves and you'll have leaks from your headers that way also.
