Last night on a run down to San Diego, what must have been a stock Bi turbo found out that newer doesn't necessarily mean faster. I was cruising at around 80mph, traffic was for the most part moving that quickly at that hour as well. He was in the HOV lane coming up fast and then sort of parked himself a car length ahead. I had to maneuver through traffic a bit every now and again to keep station. Once I had clear road I made an aggressive move back to the left lane and his blind spot. He seemed determined to stay a car length ahead. Then I heard his car downshift and I mashed and went with him.

Ultimately he tried three times or so and failed with each attempt. Having just been to a Benz show in Orange County, I am keenly aware of what those cars put down tuned and I didn't really have any way of knowing whether he was stock or not. I was prepared to get left standing still. Visually the car was completely stock, no rims, just a white car with a dark tint. So each time I dropped back a little further seeing as how easily and hard I could run him down.

Eventually a BMW 528i came along, seemingly wanting to play and neither of us bothered. This was a family matter BMW and you aren't even an M. Know your place.

Driver hopped off around the 22, I waved but his tint was dark.

NICE.... Several month's back a new CLS bi tried to take me, I pulled on him by about 2-3 lengths... He was in total denial as we met at the car wash.. Kinda funny when these guys get a Beat Down and they act like it didn't happen...

the new CLS 550 tried to race me on the freeway, i pulled about 2 lengths, i was actually suprised at how fast it was.

You guys all seem to be well modified. Lets agree MB is going a step forward in performance; next needed is an all new transmission.
