I think it is more import talking about the weather you run in than your mods almost and maybe the size/lightness of your wheels/tires. Like RBJ my car had all the bells and whistles (180 pulley, 80mm throttle body, Kleemann headers cooling) to trap 120 and that was only a few times when weather was in the 60s.

If you live in a hot and humid climate where air density is often well above sea level things get a lot harder on you. My car would run more in the 115-116 range on most days due to the weather.

Just like E55greasemonkey and Berti were trapping 116 all day at a track I was also at with blower pulley/headers/tune but then monkey trapped 120 basically when there was "cold" weather (50s?)

Most of you guys are pretty lucky... I was lucky to break into the high 12s @ 107 Friday night with 8500 DA air, 1.9xx 60' on DRs. Racing at altitude sucks.

Time for you to start modding then.

That's WITH a SC pulley, belt wrap kit, split cooling, trunk tank, ECU/TCU tune, and DRs. It was more like 101-102 stock.

I'm going to assume yes, lol. I purchased the car with that tune on it from a dealership so I don't have history on the tune.

Hovering in the mid 11.60s with pretty consistent 122 traps and 2.0+ 60s

This was before the BIP tune, E85, water injection, Shardul pulley, and better tires so who knows now.

It's is easy when there's cold weather (60 degrees or lower), -DA, and a sticky track.

I built my car to run in everyday 100degree weather. And I run at the track every chance I get. And PBIR is usually +2000 DA and not so great prep. So that's the only reason I say some are lucky.

120's are easy, my first time at the track stock on street tires I ran 12.2@117 with a high trap that day of 117.7 Not until 3yrs later when I added drag radials did I run according to the controversial Sac Raceway timer did I reach over 120 stock on drag radials. I picked up 3 tenths off my 60' and 3+ mph on my trap speed by adding drag radials.
