If you're looking for a lot of sound I'd suggest welding cutouts directly in front of the mufflers. Easy to open and close back there manually, and when theyre closed the car is basically oem.

the resonator isn't restrictive, just a noise reducer - pretty much an x-pipe with baffling built in - it just makes the exhaust a bit more rumbly, but nothing obnoxious - and no drone

Do you have a picture of the underside of your car? Where the resonator was and what is in place of it now?
Thanks!

If the resonator is taken down and opened up and everything from the inside of the resonate is cleaned out . I mean no buffering or channeling is kept, wouldn't that make it sound better than H or X pipe since it'll give it a more hollow and deep sound ?
