I'm local to this car and would buy it in a heartbeat. But really need to get rid of my 4matic if i do so. Dont need 3 E classes and a daily beater. Yeah i can buy and then try to sell my 4matic, but def will get about $13,000 for it.

Thanks for the kind words and I hope it sells to a good home. I refuse to let the car sell to someone that I think will not treat it right pt export it overseas, which is the majority of the offers that I am getting on the car.

 

Honestly sell it if they're offering good money over seas. You sell the car and file the proper liability release paperwork, get any bill of lading to the dock and then paperwork saying the car is leaving, and lastly get the bill of lading from the ship to destination. Sounds like a lot of work but I've dealt with these guys before and its a hassle shipping cars out of the county. The only thing to be cautious about is money and how they pay for it.

 

If I get a cashiers check and it clears my account and there are no chance of me getting in to any legal trouble then I may go that route. A guy I work with ships a container of car every 90 days back to his brother in Dubai and is fetching ALL of the money for some not so clean cars. It may be worth my time and hassle if it doesn't sell within the next 30 days.

I think my E55 is sold, like 95% chance unless the guy gets hit by a train tonight, but I will still be on this forum! Maybe I 'would have' bought dumbasses car but... Just kidding!

Price is pretty high but as I said up there ^ the car is pretty nice with low miles. I just took a deposit on my 2004 e55 w/ 83k mi at $18000 so if you wanna sell it, price is everything! They have dropped pretty good but I was only into mine for like $19500 so no biggie!

Either way GLWS and just to let you know...selling it overseas is not as easy as you think. I sell old collectible cars and they go overseas a lot but I am paid before they go! You need to find a buyer before it goes and I certainly don't see overseas buyers knocking down any doors to buy e55's and the newer cars sometimes go but they want high high mileage stuff that they can steal! It's incredible that 'they' do not care about mileage!

 

It's definitely nice. Flint Grey was my first choice in color.

 

...and white was my first choice in both the 55 and the V...hard to find in either car and you got one!
