Tcu problems

Trying to find out if someone has had the same problems I'm having and if so what type of solution fixed the issues:
Just picked up a 2003 E55from a friend of which already had a tcu tune in it, was tapping limiter at 2nd-3rd shift. Sent tcu back for retune upon receiving tcu back in my possession and installing back into car I got a check engine light, abs malfunction, and ESP malfunction the car will not shift out of first and I cannot choose comfort, sports or manual mode. Sent tcu back and was informed wrong program was initially loaded however they have gauranteed the correct program is now loaded. Received the tcu back again and installed back into car with same results as before. Any advice on how to find a resolution for this problem would be greatly appreciated. Been without car for a month and out $100in shipping costs for tcu tuning.

Mercedes
Send TCU back one last time, and have them restore it to stock tune. Problem solved.

Obviously who ever tuning your car isn't doing it right. Before you cause any damage ask them to return the car back too stock and go with a different tuneing companey.

At this point I don't trust them to put it back to stock I'll just buy a new one. I was just seeing if any one has had this same problem.

That’s strange,

E/C deals professionally with all kind of tunes,, you should to contact to them quickly, they are soo helpFUL,,

did you try to diagnose your car, you may have something else to follow it...!?!

This is correct! I've never had any issues with my TCU tune from Jerry.

if you mean ABS / ESP red warning and car in limp mode , then YES, seen it many times when was tuning my tcu...

Loading an original file will solve your prob, except in case the hardware is damaged.
This may be indeed your case: tuning that control unit usually involves de-soldering and soldering back the 44 pin chip in it.
its enough that one pin is not contacting correctly or broken and you are set like being without the module at all..
in that case, just find somewhere an original module from a car like yours and you 'll be OK.

I have an '05 TCU module that's stock, works perfectly and has never flashed that you might be interested in. PM me for details.

Thats strange, i've read about Problems with TCU tunes not for the first time sadly enough.
I really wonder whats the problem there? I would send it back and have them ship you a replacement TCU with a tune. They seem to have them tuned in stock.
They have maybe killed yours so its their fault.
