As another option, I would suggest that if you have an 03, 04, or early 05 to contact Chris for the electronic conversion modual. It's a small part that fits under the airbag, and its a plug and play for the paddle conversion.
Berti, I like what your doing and I've said it before I think these wheels should have come on the cars as a standard steering wheel.

Got my converter and decided to go with the magnesium paddle shifters, they fit perfect like a glove

The squareness looks a bit like the new Aston steering wheels.

You'll need a different wheel bc go your newer style air bag. But that P030 wheel is so awesome. I put one in my 55.

I have that stitched airbag too, look better than the stock one for sure. No fancy wheel for me though but I do have a CLS round shifter piece to replace the squared E55 one and then the surround plate matches the birdseye.
