I am not sure of the diff it will make at cruising temps, but more fluid and a 5gal tank of 40* water to pull from can't be bad. General driving on the streets my IAT now are around 60*, so 20-25* below ambient. When its cooler out my IATs will go as low as 30*, and then the Torque app lets you know to beware of ice!!!

Now when we added my meth system I went from 468/578 to 506/668. Lost the org dyno but here is the most recent and also showing IAT with my meth setup never more than 90* or so. All with the massive 195 crank pulley.

Gratuitous car pics:

Solid numbers on a dyno dynamics! Are you tuned for meth and where are you nozzle(s) placed if I may ask?

How did you gain 90 TQ by just adding meth? What were your IATs during your previous pulls with just KC ? If you have no tank or HE to hold water I guess that might explain it. That little bit of water would heat up very quickly. It really needs some kind of decent sized tank. I feel my 2.5 gal tank is a minimum. I really like my top mount tank. Water drops down to 41 degrees and IATs can be as low as 55 when it is a 100 degrees out if I am just cruising.

Sorry lost my previous graphs. And yeah more fluid would be better but around town I see 60*. What are you seeing when cruising at 80mph?

How about KC, meth, HE, pump, split cooling with trunk tank, and -10C?

30* temps year round?

I ran AEM 50/50 mix with dual nozzles after the IAT sensor with no tune. Comes on @ 11psi. I was able to hold peak power through redline. A gain of 72whp from 6000-69000rpms. South Florida is hot as FAWK!

Keeping the HE increases your IATs about 10-15* when using the KC. But with the rest then yeah pretty damn low IAT. I just a tank now with my setup and I will have what you posted.

Please check what IATs are like after about 3min of 80mph cruising. I see about 80*~ now but if you are getting 60* then the tank will certainly be going on sooner.

Let me do some digging and pm'ing of a moderator or two this afternoon/evening and see if I can't organize a group buy for Devilsown with a few options to choose from! Snow performance also makes a killer kit but you are paying for the name and in my opinion devils own is of higher quality each kit is hand made just like our cars

To whom asked about hp gains In theory you can add timing with meth because it increases octane and pulls iat temps down but if you do tune for meth and run out you have a bomb on your hand if the tune is aggressive enough, so a low tank alert like devils own is recommended. For those that are not familiar: blue regular windshield washer fluid is all you need, so add an extra 3-5 dollars every other time you fill your gas tank and that's the cost to run meth injection. I'd say in a guess without any dyno proof you can gain 20-40whp from adding it if tuned correctly someone correct me if I am off. I am speaking from experience with my previous evo9 Audi tt and a few other personal cars I ran meth injection on.

Oh one more thing:
Adding water methanol injection without a tune will not harm anything but the only benefit you may see is cooler iat and a few ponys from ecu seeing higher octane the real power is with a tune.

Double check on the windshield washer fluid before using it as not all of it is fit to run for injection.

I've heard it also helps clean off the carbon build-up on the valves. I have no proof, though.

Did this yesterday and my IATs were 60-62 if I just cruised. I also went up a steep windy road and did a bunch of small WOT bursts and the IAT stayed below 80. Get a tank

Sounds good. Do you have it setup with the KC>tank or tank>KC?

I think it goes KC to tank then tank back down to KC. Water drops to about 41 degrees.

Today I was getting 55 degrees on the freeway
