Guys,

I know that SL55 (230.472) uses (80mm) bigger throttle body with bigger Y-Pipe,,

but does anyone know is the SL55 uses bigger air boxs...?,

cause i heard the SL55 also got a bigger I/O ports than all other 55Ks family, and bigger intake tubes, with bigger air boxs assemblies(more bigger room between the filter and the bottom of the box for air flow)

besides; the part #s for the SL55 air boxs are different as well,,

*all 55Ks air boxs #s: "113 090 05 01 & 113 090 06 01"

*SL55 air boxs #s: "113 090 11 01 & 113 090 12 01"

I say measure up a set of 'regular' 55k boxes and inlets and ask someone in the SL forums to do the same. Let compare notes.

The SL55 with Vin #: "230.474", sharing the same set-up with all 55Ks family,,

Should to have the SL55 with Vin #: "230.472".....

Is your SL55 vin # started with 230.472 or 230.474 ....??

You can go to EPC,and put "230.474", then press Enter, go to group "52" Air Intake, then go to page "3",

you will see all air intakes parts,, all these parts are exactly the same of all 55Ks,,

but if you put "230.472", and follow all above steps, you will see all air intakes parts are different, compared to "230.474"......

That's not the vin,I will have to hook it up to my computer and see what chassis /group number pops up
