I don't get it. You're a vendor and you have a sale going. The most important aspect of that thread is what ... PRICE.

Asking members to PM for a quote is just...STUPID. Are you planning to give people different prices? You're not an insurance company, post the prices.
+1 Good points. If its on sale why not just post price. I would be interested if good deal instead of PM... emails...

This is from another forum when members asked the same question about not posting the prices:
There is no benefit to us to have customers call or e-mail to receive a price. This actually gives us much more e-mail to answer, many more phone calls and the customer has to make an effort to receive a quote.

It would be much easier to just say "the current sale price is $xxx.xx" but alot of manufacturers have a M.A.P. (Minimum Advertised Pricing) policy that vendors are supposed to follow. Some don't care what price is advertised. Vendors could sell a $500. part for a dollar and it wouldn't matter. This is becoming very rare through. Some don't want their products advertised below a certain price but it doesn't matter what prices vendors quote through e-mail or over the phone. Some don't want any discounts put in writing but discounted prices given out over the phone are ok. There are some manufacturers that have a certain price set and vendors aren't supposed to discount below that. Vendors that do can lost their ability to sell that brand. One manufacturer that we used to deal with changed their pricing policy and set minimum pricing. Well, after years of carrying their products and not having to abide by any guidelines we accidently listed discounted prices after the policy changed. Because of that, we no longer carry their products.

before you guys buy, make sure that you have patience for up to 6-8 wks to get these headers shipped to you. They are made per order and not in stock. But def worth the wait.

For everyone who had the same questions as I did,

From the vendor himself.

Price for headers is xxxx Mid-section $xxxx Xpipe $xxxx. Yes these header delete the primary cats, It will give an emissions based check engine light without tuning or having your tuner turn off the CEL. I drove around for a year in my SL55 with the CEL on (no tuning) without any driveability issues.

Power gains on the E55 are 45-50 wheel horsepower over stock. The mid-section can only be used with our headers. As an option we can add an xpipe to the mid-section.

I cannot disclose the price but trust me compared to the regular price , it's unbelievable.

Yes this is my first post, but I wanted to let you all know that these headers are not what they used to be. A different company makes the headers for MBH. I have a very reputable tuning shop that actually works with the company that used to make the headers for MBH. Long story short, you will be lucky if you don't have fitment issues. And 40+ hp gains? My car was dynoed after the headers, mid and xpipe all from the new MBH headers, WITH a ECU tune and I got 45 hp gains TOTAL. I have the dyno sheets that show this. Since I don't want this thread to become drama, pm me and I am more than happy to share. Oh and 2-3 weeks for the headers to be made? That is definitely not true. Mine took 7 weeks

This is not true at all! There is NO past shop that made our headers. I started MBH years ago with my good friend who is an amazing fabricator. Together we have built every header that has been installed on every Mercedes.

If you had or have an issue with the header contact me. Your 1 post count makes this very suspect. What is your name? I'll look your info up on your order. Some orders take longer than others, materials, pending orders, shipping location can have an effect on lead time. We are currently shipping out headers that were ordered last week. So it does work both ways.

Edit: Under your name it says you drive a C63, Yet you talk about the E55? If you are talking about the C63, Headers with tuning make over 100whp. E55 with headers only make on average 45whp over stock. Look up all the dyno charts from other shops, check what some of the fastest 55's are running. We guarantee our 55 headers for make at least 40whp over stock. If you feel you didn't take them off and send them back.
