Test Drove a 07 E63 Tonight
Having had on 06 E3504matic previously this car drove like a proper Mercedes in terms of the hunkered down on the road feeling. What has AMG done to the suspension / steering to make it drive so well? I would be happy with less power / better mileage but one that rode / handled the same. Any suggestions in terms of making a non AMG handle / ride like an AMG?
Oh yeah made a big strategic error bringing my significant other along. The second she heard the exhaust it was curtains for the purchase which is why I am trying figure out how to get a non AMG to drive like one sans the power.

2) Buy E63, leave E350 with significant other.

N/A E550 with Airmatic and AMG Sport kit will be a similar ride but not exactly. Essentially the greatest difference over a E350 is the airmatic suspension. Having owned several Mercedes with and without, I prefer with, the ride is second to none.

You'll love this. When I jumped on it getting on the highway she reached down and pressed the suspension control to sport 2. I asked her what she was doing. She said if you are going to drive like that....
