Kleemann 168 pulley vs EC 175 pulley...

What's the forum's opinion on this debate?

I'm considering either the Kleemann 168 or the EC 175. I've heard great stories about both pulleys, but I've also heard the 168 is close to, if not matching the 175, which is impressive and surprising. I'm guessing they're referring to the all alloy pulley for that one, right?

I plan to use this pulley to stack w/the supercharger boost pulley. Any dynos w/both pulleys and similar mods or anything like that? Any suggestions/recommendations would be really appreciated. Thanks.

My car has the 168 along with the smaller pulley, MBH headers, stock TB, killer chiller and drag radials in Florida weather. My setup in a lighter E (minus 400lb) would have gone deep 11s, possibly high 10s at MIR in perfect conditions. 168 prob produces .5lb less boost.

If you're going to stack I'd go 168. But I wouldn't use the new non-dampened alloy pulley. Get the old trusty original kleeman or ASP 168. The EC maybe an ASP pulley depending on year.

This/\/\/\/\.. Look at my mods, no problems at all... Kleemann crank and smaller SC pulley is the way to go, enough added boost without too much heat.. I could definitely hit 10's on a good day..

I'm going w/BenzWorks' suggestion on what remaining mods to do, in which case is going to be improved cooling and a crank pulley to finish off.

So I'd be running the EC supercharger pulley, Kleemann headers, Green filters, 1 step colder plugs, OE Tune, plus boosted cooling and whatever pulley I settle on. Serge did say the 175 would work fine to stack, but not to go any more than that, which is perfectly fine. Just a matter of 175 other guys or 168 Kleemann. Besides, if I really wanted to get dumb, I'd port & polish the SC since no one else has done it before, heh.

But thanks for the input. I guess I'll figure it out soon enough.
