has anyone tried Centric 128.35068 rotors?
shopping around, looking for a good deal (of course)
anyone have pics of these rotors? are they coated? hubs sprayed?
Centric 128.35068 Front Brake Rotor $91/ea
Cross Drilled OEM Brake Rotor
every pic I find is 'sample only' - anyone have real pics?

Cross Drilled OEM Brake Rotor
- CROSS-DRILLED
- The addition of high performance street pads provide you with higher resistance to fade, higher maximum operating temperature, and better initial bite to allow consistent deep braking into corners.
- Superior resistance to cracking due to thermal stress
- Increased molybdenum content that extends reliability, service life and helps reduce NVH "noise" issues
- Cross drilled brake rotors prevent glazing of the pads, add bite and improve wet and dry braking performance.

I haven't. I just did my front brakes and went with OEM rotors at $130 each and a set of Wagner thermoquiet pads (MX1231) for $65 with sensor. I haven't seen any reviews of those pads but I did take plenty of pics and I will write a review on them soon. Initially, the feel is like OEM, the amount it brake dust is drastically reduced, and the brakes are SILENT. I only have about 1000 miles on them. I plan on putting a few more miles and hard miles before I write them up.

Spend the extra few bucks for OEM rotors. You are only going to do them once during the time you own the car. I wouldn't cheap out on brakes.
I picked up mine at the dealer, around $130 a piece. Went with Akebono pads. Great combo.

$28.44 shipping and a $2 handling fee (wtf?)
so $220.04 shipped - not too bad for OEM
of course you get what you pay for, but here's what I've found so far:
Amazon:
Zimmermann ~$140/ea shipped currently (used to be a lot cheaper)
Balo 02391L Disc Brake Rotor (OEM?) #2304210712B - what's the B mean? $108/ea (free ship) - if OEM then a leader!
Rockauto:
CENTRIC Part # 12135068 $63/ea
BECK/ARNLEY Part # 0833278 $115/ea
WAGNER Part # BD180138 360mm $186/ea
CENTRIC Part # 12835068 (Stoptech X-drilled) $86/ea
so $220.04 shipped - not too bad for OEM

I've had the Centric rotors on my car for about 20k miles now. No problems yet. No cracking and very reasonably priced. I'll likely go with them again when I have to replace my rotors again. I don't remember how much I paid though.

I have bought centric rotors before as well and am overall happy with them. In fact I just installed front and backs on my wife's R350 and am pleased. (I did a write up on it on a the R forum)
As to the sensors, if you're getting a light you deifnately want to replace them. But yeah if worn, get them and you can find them as low as $7 each. Centric is a decent brand that I've seen sold at tires.com I think and when I researched them found pretty good reviews. I am using the pads on my C32 now and they work well (I'm not autocross or whatever racer) and my wife's R is doing great
