Help with pricing??
Help with pricing??
I am getting ready to sell my 2004 E55 due to some financial downsizing and I am having a heck of a time coming up with a price. I could use some help on coming up with a fair price that will move the car in a shortish amount of time.
2004 E55 Tectite Grey
165,xxx miles with service records
front pads and rotors done less than a year ago when the dealer did the SBC res
Toyo Proxxes tires with less than 500 miles
D2 coilovers
RennTech headers
EC supercharger pulley and tune
navi
no dynamic seats
I was also thinking of throwing the star-das with developer in as well.
The car is in great shape for the mileage (typical rock chips and one very small door ding on the rear driver door). I am struggling with the value of the add ons in relation to the high miles. I am guessing it should be somewhere in the 13-14k range?
Any help or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

damn! that mileage is high but if the car drives well and all bells and whistles
are fine, then you can price it around 16-18k (it could be negotiated).
If you think the engine is almost done and transmission would go too then
set it accordingly and also sell the mods separately (if you can take off the stuff
yourself).

I know 2 owners that have 200k+ on their cars and the're still up and running. The mods only add value if you sell the car to some one who knows about modding and is familiar with pricing for it. I think $13-14k is a good price.

I am sure our car can get to 200K miles but after certain mileage a lot more maintenance and repairs will require.
Thanks for all of the input guys. It actually looks like the car is sold to the brother of a member here. I am driving down to meet him Thursday to complete the deal. I will release more detail when the deal is complete.
