I keeeeed.. Didn't jump on that bandwagon. But I did pick up the beast from the east, the EV12.

V12Godspeed.. Can't say enough good things about the guy. Made a good friend during the purchase and he certainly went above and beyond to deliver on his word. Though it was a long and involving process, I can say every time I set foot in this car it was all worth it. Jody my brother, thank you for letting me have the honor of owning what is quite possibly the fastest V12 E class today. And of course for putting up with me during the ordeal. I was on his azz what felt to me like daily (from when the deal was being discussed wayy back in April lol) and he never once was out of reach or in no way did I ever feel like I was left hanging. We will catch up in person one day my friend. I been needing to visit NY anyways.![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
In regards to the E, been real busy and haven't put many miles on it but I did put it under the knife so to speak with a massive paint correction overhaul nearing a total of over 40hrs to complete. I measured paint thickness after claying/alcohol wipedown and came up with a plan of attack which included an assortment of Menzerna/Blackfire compounds/polishes utilizing everything in my arsenal from my Rupes Bigfoot to my PC with numerous pad combos to achieve the level of correction I desired. Finished it off with 3 coats of Pinnacle Souveran. Photos above were after first coat. Let it cure 24hrs in between coats. I would have included photos of the process but was pressed for time and white is a hard color to spot imperfections in as is. Regardless, I am pleased with the results and definitely surpassed my own expectations in gloss/clarity.
On another note, I also went ahead and opened up the exhaust, I'll have a vid of that soon. I have future plans to run E85 on this beast, no current WHP figure available but by Jody's old dyno sheet it hit 744whp. I think it may have even a wee bit more tbh.. It's downright scary jumping on that throttle from ANY speed, and I honestly can not stress that enough. Compared to my 510whp E55, this... This is simply on another level in the way it gathers speed... Especially once it hooks over 100 or w/e. Planning to track it this year but we will see how this goes. I wouldn't be surprised to hit low 10s/high 9s. Also contemplating a diet for the E, all in due time.
For now, I simply enjoy cruising. Truth be told, I don't even have any kills yet. She moves just fine slowly too

Congrats dude ! Off topic but have some quick questions about using the rupes big foot ? Can anyone use without ruining the paint ? How do u know what compound to use being there are a ton of them. I really want to do a paint correction on my car being it's black. I could pay 500-600 dollars to get it done.
From what I have read the rupes 21mm throw offset makes it where u dont burn the paint. Sry for all the question it's just that not a lot of ppl understand paint correction or don't care about all the rids and swirls, they drive me f n crazy !

Congrats
You hit the nail in the head with everything you said, not many people can deliver like V12GODSPEED would.. I agree 100%. In fact thats how i met the guy, thru a sale. Been good pals ever since. (BTW he just let me test to see if my ic pump was dead by going head to head with me on this slow E55 he has now
)
EV12 has lots of potential! I hope to see respectable numbers on full trim one day. Car did trap 128 on the old setup running half a track only
Hope im not spilling any beans there for ya ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Thanks. I am definitely excited to track it.
Thanks bro, it'll more then likely be shift-sector out here... Line up against one of these Weistec Titans out here. ![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)
I'll address all this later but there are cheaper ways to do it then buying a Rupes, that said it's been a welcome addition to my arsenal. I dont think it would burn your paint so long as you dont stay in one spot for too long. Also depends on how aggressive your compound/pad combo is. Save the money and do it yourself. Quality time with the baby ya digg ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Thanks.![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

But yes, she will stay in full trim, but deff will be addressing rotors along with possibly pano roof. Trying to get as thin as possible without removing seats/gutting it.

Quick question, this is a BRABUS motor in this car or is it a S600 motor? I'm not caught up on details regarding this car but from the posts it seems to be well known and respected.
