It is carbon fiber. Not sure what you mean by direct replacement? It does require a heat gun to remove the factory cover, and then the adhesive sticker on the diffuser along with liquid nails or drilled screws to attach the new one - the corners.

Thanks to Gunmoto for the inspiration and advice on this process.
Small first step but its a start as I begin to dig in. K&N filters and exhaust wrapped intake pipes.
Must of added 1000 HP!!

For whatever reason your pics are deleted or gone...what color is this car? Is it silver? I can kinda see the color from the engine compartment. Must be nice with 20k miles! Good luck with it...you're gonna love it!

Just re-organized my photobucket... bad idea I guess. I've been dragging my feet messing with this car. With the low mileage and being completely stock I almost feel bad
