Me and John discussed it during the day would be best by the time we both get out of the gym it's usually dark. Soon bro don't worry, remember torque doesn't win races hp does. IMHO

lmao this has to be organized, I not trying to go to jail. need spoters to drive a mile ahead to look for bacon then we can go ! unless I get some drag radials Im only going to be able to do 40-45-50-60 rolls. I really wish I could fit those nittos. I think the closest size is 285/40/18
think that is to wide.

I think rolls are better anyway (compared to a dig). All you are seeing from a stop is who can get better traction more than which car is faster. 40-50mph roll is perfect up to like 130.

I can't do that with my drag radials on the V, can't even dead hook from like 45. The rear end gets a little shimmy and spinning going briefly but it accelerates hard forward as it is gathering its traction up.
Like this, squats a little does a little shake to the left, shake to the right then you are out!

What is the temp. when your car does this Dave? It is getting chilly over here so when it is like 50 degrees the other day I was running that Camaro in one of the runs and hit 3rd gear (which is like 62mph I think?) and I got more spin than that! At 45 it always shakes and then goes with the same exact tire as Dave. Granted, probably a little warmer over there by Dave though...so just sayin. I think my friend has video of the 62mph sideways run!
Einstein: I didn't realize that your car had all that stuff done!

About the weight...I am always at a disadvantage...275lbs and tall so it's not like I can shed any weight! lol I am really thinking who I can bring (like a dwarf) and knows how to drive down the track to get a better time.

OH and yes...you guys should run tonight!

Edit: One more thing...another that was mentioned above somewhere, roll racing is best as we are all just trying to see who has gotten their car to run faster. That's what we all strive for.

Without a doubt a genius in the aftermarket place. Secondly the only shop that has cams for the M156 and M159 engines plus hand-ported heads not Cnc machined. I can't say enough about MHP and the extent he went to helping me out.
I think the fastest if you want to say that is 11.9 by a guy name oldgixer(if that is how you spell it)and an 08 e63 around the same time frame but with no mods!!!
Definitely going to lay down the gantlet/hammer whatever it's called come November 16th. Bone stock for both of these cars so I will be leaving nothing on the table that day. It should be great times nonetheless.
CTS-V's, E55's, some turbo's maybe some SlS's and of course one nasty N/A MHP built E63.

The spinning I talked of is with the car already being in 2nd gear and just stomping the throttle also, not cruising at 45mph and then pounding it having the car downshift and shake the tires loose from the shift which would be way easier to do.
I usually get it in 2nd and plant the throttle, let off and plant it one or two more times to get the tires to spin a few times before they will start hooking better if I am going to run someone. If I don't do that and it isn't hot out (80s or higher) even if I have been cruising around it will do the little shimmy as I gun it with it already in 2nd.
