It was a plain Bosch sensor. Some extensive google-fu showed that it cross-lists as several different MB part numbers, to include the most recent version of ours.

Bosch part number: 0261 230 191

Same part number on O'Reilly's:
http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/de...ord=0261230191

This is the part I am using on my car now.

No, if you are over boosting this will not solve the problem

The best way to fix this, install 4 bar map sensor, input custom code into the ecu to read up to 4 bar, tune the car

There's more than a few parts they have for us that they say is not for our cars.

WOW!! I really enjoyed reading this thread, I think someone has little man's syndrome

I'm experiencing these error codes too after installing 82mm Throttle body and 3.5" intake piping...

Uh, with the dude with no socks are my map sensor meltdown?

I say he probably still doesn't wear socks and I used the cl600 map sensor with a map clamp. One has smelly shoes and the other doesn't go into limp mode. Unless, I have too much to drink. Oh,wait.....what?

Wait, so the Bosch 0261 230 191 MAP sensor from the v12 cars fixed this hiccup issue for everyone or are you guys just living with it?
I had this code around this time last year without the leaning out part or any idle issues then it went away by itself with stock pulleys and TB.
Fast track to this year and I now have my 82mm tb on with another stock MAP sensor but same time of year and this code popped up once with a weird idle afterwards and the car hunting for 14.7afr. Taking my intake apart to check for leaks just to rule that out.

Yes and no? Depends on how much boost you are doing. If you are hitting 14-16 psi on occasion, I have heard this map sensor delays triggering limp mode..........but still will trigger it. The key part of my comment is Map Clamp. Split Second is the company who makes it. Set the module to 4.5v and never look back.
