Supercharger inlet snout (82mm TB)
Hi guys

please let me know what the plastic bung with the plunger is used for, do I need it or can I block the hole as I have seen with others.
I broke it when taking it out to weld an adaptor plate on the snout. Checked EPC and with main dealer, its not a separate part you can buy and only comes with the inlet.

ok it seems I can just weld the hole up closed,

still not sure what its for?

you can plug it with a rubber boot and a screw clamp.

thank you for the reply..... what is the plunger for,,, smoother throttle when you let off the pedal or is it a safety item for overboost lol

on some mb models that port is used for the brake booster.
