Whats the difference? (another TB thread)

I've done some searching but can't seem to figure out what the difference is between these throttle bodies.....

I apologize if this has been discussed before, but with all the threads on TB's is pretty hard to find one regarding this.

Is it a year to year change? or is one upgraded?

yeah that's what originally caught my eye, the difference between the snouts...

Did this come stock on some E55's? Wondering how it looks so OEM...

I think I figured it out....the one on the right looks the same as a 2007 SL55 which had 510hp and an 80mm throttle body.

I guess my car has an 80mm TB...gonna measure it when I get home...
