EISENMANN EXHAUST
Ok guys, I think I am leaning towards getting an Eisenmann race, and selling my oem mufflers. I already did the resonator delete and love it, but it left me wanting more!
Found a used one on eBay for 2k off on an E63... Don't know what the downsides are buying used but if not used, then where can I get one new asap?

I love the Eisenmann Race, but I would never spend the money they want for them. Even $2k for used mufflers is insane.

What would you do to make it louder and more growl? My muffler shop told me adding an x pipe won't help much if at all with the design of the stock system it's already kind of built in.

Bought my Eisenmann Race mufflers used off of an E63. No problems at all. Decided against welding them on and went with the BMW exhaust clamps for easy adjustment.
$2k sounds about right. Selling your OEM mufflers will reduce your out of pocket costs by a couple hundred bucks. I think there are a few members that would be interested in your OEM mufflers (that's what I had before the Eisenmann's. They sounded great)
I say go for it.
Then add headers.

I paid $2k for mine brand new. if you pay 2k used you have issues. But, dont buy the c63 they are no comparison to how our car sounds with legitimate exhaust. i LOVE how mine sounds.. neighbors hate me.. oh well.
BTW, i was able to get $750 for my OEM mufflers.

2k new sounds solid. Was that online somewhere or local? Something I might have access to?

That was the reason for my post earlier.

I have Eurocharged long tube headers and 3inch pipes with a MagnaFlow xpipe and no mufflers or cats.

OP I would personally get headers instead of the eisenmann but if you need the exhaust contact iND Distribution. They're the North American Distributors for Eisenmann and good friends of mine they will take care of you.
