My E55 pulls to the right. Please help!

After bringing my E55 to the dealer for an alignment, my 03 E55 still pulls to the right. I remember reading somebody else post about this and I don't remember the solution. Please help!

pulling problem

the current issue of THE STAR addresses this very point: you probably need new bolts(part 000 330 00 18) installed in the lower control arm. refer your dealer to p.83 of nov/dec issue of THE STAR. good luck.

RussJr's post is correct. This fix worked on my '03 and I then submitted it to the Star. If your dealer is still confused have hime call Joe Becht the L.A. regional servcie guy for MBUSA at 800-225-6262.

Nope. I got the standard bolt kit on mine (after waiting for 3 days) and that did not fix the problem.

Nevertheless, mine does not pull to the right anymore (al-least not for me). It sits inside the dealer with a "For Sale sign". I now own a 2004 SL500. I a very dissapointed with the way my ex-dealer managed the "pull to the right" problem. I had bought $140K worth of vehicles in the last year with them and their service was poor.

Well I have a new MB dealer and just sepnt over 90K in a 2004 SL. Over time I'll find ut what service is like at this new dealer and will decide if this "Is the one" where I will buy my future MBs.

03_E55: Is you car at Autohaus in Northfield? I stop by there often and I would always see the same silver/black E55 parked in the back service area. It seemed like it was there for 4-6 weeks straight, now it is for sale. Did they buy it back? I had a friend who worked in sales there (but now has left) and he told me that managemet there is not very good in customer service.

No. I did buy it from Autohaus, but after being dissapointed with their service, I now have changed dealers to the one in Westmont. The Westmont dealer does have my 03 E55 inside their showroom and they certified the car as 'Starmark' (not sure what the really needed to do since the car was pretty much new and was always very well cared for).

I did see an E55 in the back for quite some time (not sure what was wrong with it). Since I am not a big fan of them, I have not stopped by their dealership for some time.

The service at Westmont is waaaay better (or so far, it has been my impression). Only time will tell.

I was dissapointed that after spending $140K at their daler in less than a year their service was poor. In any case, I consider it their loss. They could have earned my business on the 04 SL, and knowing myself, probably on another car in the next 6 - 9 months.
