This is a secondary air pump message. I had this issue about 4months ago. the shop I bought the car said they had dealt with it but it kept coming back. Its been gone for about 3 months and poof its back! I truly don't want to bring it back to that shop. Is this a common problem, and something these guys could be overlooking?
I've been told this pump has been changed already.

just a heads up, when the secondary air pump is replaced the relay should be replaced with it everytime.
if they pump is actuating, check to see if its actually producing any air flow.
if so, you have have a cracked line to the diverter valves, or the switchover valve is bad.

Same thing on my V12TT at this very moment. SDS scan and pump test says exactly what MB TECHMAN says above.
I'm also smelling it to be a little rich on cold start. Not sure if related.
