NY..NJ..PA Guys check in here
There will be a track rental at Atco Raceway on Monday, Dec. 2nd for all to attend. This event is being held in honor of Officer Michael D'Amico (July 22 1977--November 12, 2013). Big Mike was expecting his first child, a daughter.
Only a 10 car minimum is required for this event to take place.
Fee is reduced to $120 per car.....come out and race!

There will be wayyyyyy more then 10 cars there...cntrline is going from here and at least 5 others from the Island with other cars are going and that is just that I know of! I will be there but I am running on Friday instead and just going with cntrline...Kevin on Monday. See you guys there.

Your title is misleading as I think a Florida guy or two are coming also. Hopefully they will see this post. Ask one of the mods to change the title and just add...for ATCO track rental Monday 12/2

Probably a little too soon to tell. The guy running the rental has a pretty quick Lightning so you would probably hit it off with him.

you sure you wanna go there on Friday? make sure you get there when they open if you want any runs. they pissed me off real bad last year. in 5 hrs I got 1 run in and dude got pissed when I backed up out of the beams after they dropped the lights on me before I went in deep.

Yeah right, you sound silly! I think you told me that the guy you played with over here was 'lowprofile'. Let him guess what you will run! LP: he is faster now then when you guys played around on the street!
YIKES! That's scary...borrow one as you never know! We are only 135 miles and I trailer for 2 reasons..E85 and possible issues! Don't want to use that 'B' word!
Please give me more info. on this! Are you saying that there were a lot of cars? I get there first thing but if you are saying that there are soooo many cars that you run once every 2 hours then I will come Monday with my car as well and leave it home for Friday! I have 2 trailers so me and Kevin (cntrline) can still come together...no biggie.

they had 300+ cars last year there. ALL staging lanes were full past the fence. it was just a huge cluster Fk. I waited a while for them to even call me to the lanes and once they did I waited there for about 3hrs. I had to pit out in the sand/rock lot, they didn't even have paved area left. just giving you a fair warning. don't get me wrong I love that track and I always shoot the **** with the guys running it, I wish I could run points there but they don't have a class I fit in well (forced to deal with the E-town bullsht). but I will always T&T at atco just not on black Friday

I thought that it might be busy but had no idea it would be like that and the weather looks perfect which means it could be really ugly! Thanks for the heads up so I guess I will try for Monday but the weather isn't looking the greatest for Monday so far! I can only get a 5 day forecast and they're calling for rain Sunday night possibly so who knows what Monday is gonna be. I will go Friday and watch as some of my CTSV guys are going and I am going to Atlantic City afterwards so it is only 40 miles from there! Thanks again for the heads up.

sounds like a good time. it may be possible enough people got fed up in the past and they wont show but I guess you don't know until you get there. I personally like these last few weekends when there aren't events, that place is a ghost town and you can hot lap. side note. looking at your car list and seeing a 348. you don't happen to have a lonely 409 collecting dust do you?
Funny you asked about a 409...unfortunately I do not have a 409 but I do have a 348 complete from carb to pan with a 4 barrel...not a tri. I am going to list it online in the next few weeks actually.

I live 2 miles from him and we mess around out there all the time. He said you guys ran and you beat him pretty good so I figured that you ran him and would know how good his car runs and it goes a little better now...that's all...why?
He is saying that he will run 11.50's and I know he will go faster than that...so I asked what you would guess that he would run being that you ran him and now he is probably 1-2 cars faster then he was then! You questioned this like it was a secret or I was saying that he beat you?! Not really sure how to take your response here! I don't really understand it! Seems like your mad or something!
Edit: Bottom line...I was asking your opinion on what you think he might run!

That's all it was about...WOW!
I can speak for cntrline (Kevin) here and say that neither one of us cares what anyone runs...we both hope that all of you run REALLY FAST...we do not care who beats who...we are all friends and hope that everyone's car runs as fast as they can and run what they expect to run. WE ARE NOT IN COMPETITION WITH EACH OTHER! We would all like to win street races all the time but that does not happen, and when someone is faster then either one of us,...then we congratulate them! No biggie...someone will always be faster!
Seems like some of you guys want to get into a computer racing debate...neither one of us will EVER do that!!!
Getting back to normality...I believe that Kevin's car will trap 125-127mph...he will not have a tire or skinnies or weight removed. I think his car is running well and that's all I was trying to say along with get a guesstimate of what LP thought after running him and me adding that Kevins car is 1-2 cars faster then when they played!
I hope that you all show up and run faster than you all expect to run...including me!

Funny you asked...I was just wondering that myself! I will guess 9am but it could be 10am. They always claim that they open the gates at 8am but that NEVER happens! lol and even when they say 9am it is 10am anyway!
