No Start immobilizer issue?
everything seems normal at all key positions except pos 3... no crank. dash lights all come on and the usual noise's when the key is inserted. battery power is good. key/battery is only a year old. only have one key.
tested ignition and key with star, checked out fine.
i disconnected the battery and will wait a few minutes the see if it will reset.
anyone have this before and know what caused it? even if i get it to start i dont want to be stranded somewhere.

its the ECU, should have started with that lol. looks like i will be replacing my fuse box cover since it wasnt fitting very tight. im also going to make some type of cover to help seal off the ecu.

the ecu and fuse box already has a cover over it...or at least it should!

Any luck resolving this issue
My ML is doing the same thing. I have a button installed to jump the starter while the key is in the on position. I'm trying to nail down what it is exactly i need to replace. Be it the ignition switch/key, or if it'd be something completely different. Thanks!
