The mistery revealed...twincharging is possible!
I figured in the spirit of sharing knowledge and experience to fellow m113k and W211 E55 owners, I would post a thread chronicling the uncharted territory of my twincharged, compound boost, e85 build...there are descriptions in most of the IG photos, but feel free to ask any questions...Enjoy
Here is the 4th and final dyno pull a of this date, boost peaks at about 17psi and drops to 14.5/15psi at 6300 afr's were around 11.7 at 6300 with methanol injection. Peak power was around 590rwhp and peak torque was around 610rwtq, on our mustang dyno which on average reads about 15% lower than the average dynojet, I will be switching to a electronic boost controller to help the boost hold at 17 like I want and add a tad more fuel on top

I'm still trying to see why you went with a compound set up. Doesn't the blower effectively choke the turbo in the upper rpm range? With all the rift-raft here lately I would like to make clear I am not trying to hate on it one bit just wondering.
Really cool project.

looks good man. I forget if I asked you when I was down there checking out the car. just out of curiosity how big of a wastegates or wastegates are you running. am I correct in saying one of the bigger hurdles is keeping it from over boosting? do you have a boost gauge pre blower?

What was the reason for using an 88mm turbo? That's huge and what most 1000+hp Supra guys use... very laggy but puts down monstrous power. Did you want the lag on purpose for the sake of producing too much boost with the blower and the turbo?

When dealing with compound boost your biggest enemy is over boosting due to the nature of multiplying pressure ratios of each compressor, so if you size the turbo on the large side you minimize boost spikes the large turbo builds boost gradually so your boost is compounded progressively, making it much easier to control overall boost and tuning. Also as a result having a supercharger still, "lag" is non exists t being you are always in boost, and you must also size your turbo to feed the theoretical displacement of the engine + the supercharger at its fixed boost pressure, i.e. the stock motor displacement if I am not mistaken is around 336ci with the supercharger at 10psi it behaves as if it is actually a 660ci motor, and an 88mm turbo is perfectly sized for a 660ci motor

Killer looking setup. I just reeeeeeeally wish there was a way to control IAT's besides meth with these kind of nutty setups. I just can't hop onboard the spray-train, and going from Air/Water to Air/Air is just $$$$$$$$. Been there, done it, not going back

I will never stop saying it. Will someone please please make the next major mod putting the new 7 speed on these cars!!!
I just can't imagine this car with lightning fast shifts. I am a E55 modding geezer. My modding days are over.

Thanks! Drivability is pretty much normal aside from serous traction issues on street tires, lol. I still have traction control so it's not that bad, so far I would say I put 200miles on it but weather has bee horrible lately here in nj, with e85 the sub 32 degree cold start is a bit tricky so garage storage is a must it you don't want starting problems
