What is a clean set of CLS55 wheels worth?

What is a clean set of CLS55 wheels worth?
I'm going to look at a set of OEM CLS55 wheels for my E55 tomorrow, barring any bends or cracks, what shoud these be worth (no tires)? I have seen them online auctions for $1800, and I found a chrome set for $800, really don't want chrome however!

I paid $350 for a set of stock E55 wheels on craigslist in fair condition. I've seen them or cls wheels listed for $600 average,but not sure what they sold for, those ads tended to hang around for a couple months and get relisted. The reman stock wheels on ebay seem to be overpriced. I sold 2 front E55 wheels in decent condition for $100 ea. No reserve. A local wheel shop has a set of SL55 wheels (same style) he wants 1200 for the set. He's been sitting on them for months and I expect in 5 years if he's still around the wheels will be too lol.

Keep looking on craigslist I bet you could pick up a set for 400 to 500, at least here in central florida. Keep in mind shipping can cost $35-50 per wheel...

Check for curb rash, and cracks/weld repairs on the inside lip. Remember, things are usually worth more to the seller and less to the buyer, somewhere in the middle is the true value

California Wheels here in San Jose was selling set for 1K with tires - all were super clean - no rash - tires still had tread -

I picked these up today, they are mint, gave $500 for them, can't wait to get them mounted!

I got a set of CL55 AMG 18s with good tires on them for $500 when I first got my car. Mine were chromed OEMs as well which personally I like a lot better on a black car.
