2006 Mercedes E55 AMG
Navteq update
Was just wondering a couple things about the Navteq update disc version 14. First is it even possible to jump from the original 2006 version to the latest 14 version (I've read there are cheap update discs for command and nav unit at dealer to make this possible) and second, what to expect after the update.....because the 2006 version is pretty much worthless......

Few updates in large cities
If your going from 2006 to 2013 it will map out a lot faster

I went from an '06 disc to a '12 and the only way I knew it was updated was my street now shows up. Not really worth it unless you get a deal

Thanks for the info guys.....I figure the look probably wouldn't change much do to the old software we have but hoping at least all the roads would be listed. Half the roads where I live don't even show up now.
