Weistec Supercharged G55, World's Fastest G Class!
Gentlemen,
We went out to Famoso Raceway this past weekend and had some fun with our Weistec Supercharged G55.
This car is a daily driver and weighs ~6000lbs. We were determined to get as many runs in as we could at the event, so right after every run, we immediately got back into the staging lanes to run the next pass as soon as possible.
This G55 has no ice tank, it does not even have an upgraded heat exchanger or intercooler split. Aside from the 100 octane fuel, the truck went down the track as it is driven every day on the street.
The results were consistent low to mid 12 second passes, with two consecutive 12.2 second passes at 110+mph with only 10 minutes between the two passes.
Best Pass
12.211 @ 111.71 MPH
This car is officially the fastest G Class Mercedes in the world!

Great job Weistec crew!
I attended this event and got to see this thing scream down the track live. Lemme tell you, watching a guy drive his muscle car down the drag strip only to get passed by a 6000 lbs luxury SUV...PRICELESS!

G55 put a beatin' on quite a few semi-fast sedans, That Camaro? Or was it Charger? In 1st run prolly talked himself into you were running a hot shot of nitrous stomach such beating lol... Was the blower the 2.9 or your newer 4.0-4.5 liter pkg? If NOT big blower? I'd luv to see a 6000lb G55 run high 11's if not mid 11's thatd be ULTIMATE sleeper!
its running our standard M113K supercharger system with the 3.0L blower and almost 100k miles on the odometer.

Uggggh these huge statements "Fastest G55 in the World" what was the DA at the time of the runs?
The elevation (625 ft Above Sealevel, that's good!), humidty and temperature can greatly swing the results (So you need to provide the DA and time you ran). You are tuner shop, c'mon man! For example if you ran 12.2 in Denver, Co vs Somewhere below Sealevel, Florida. The CO truck would probably run +1 second faster in Florida below sealevel on a cool day.
