I don't post for friends or "credit". I just enjoy the banter. Nothing else to do while I wait for my shoehorned V12 to finally crank. Having driven it however I feel like even though I don't have a million posts or a little clique here to follow me around and blow me (not literally 60nomad, since you've been slow) I should be allowed to speculate on what times it may run and who I think it can or can't take on. Why that's got your panties in a bunch beats me. Yeah, I haven't been the friendliest but neither have the others. Big deal.
I'll take credit when I hit the track and I don't need a bunch of cheerleaders around me to stand my ground, on a forum no less.

In the end all you guys are so passionate about your cars that brings out the best in all of us. As AMG owners/drivers we are usually hated on for having the damn cars. Even when we picked them up at a reasonable price. I hear, oh those are expensive to drive/maintain and is that your power steering pump making noise? These cars are a blast love this forum, people are pretty civil but snarky lol

I mentioned the auction as well as I almost bought another one with 110k miles on it for cheap...really cheap but it had a leaky rear main seal and the trans. had a small leak too. So, in checking the auction prices last week 2011 cars with mileage in the low 20's are still bringing low $40k's. A 2012 with 7k mi. is going to do high $40's on a bad day!
It's funny how many people seem to like the coupes but I think they are ugly too. My local dealer has about 6 cts-v's in stock and every one of them is a coupe! I actually think it is the younger generation that likes them the most hence the dealer having all coupes in stock. Understandable, given the $75k or so window sticker!
