Wanted: HEADERS

I am looking to buy a set of kleemann headers for w211 e55. If you have a set please pm me...Yes I am aware Kleemann sells them for about $1000 But i like to pay less....

Don't forget flex pipes and you should consider changing the motor mounts while the headers are off....heck weld another O2 bung to log wideband.....I think I paid around 1000$

My motor mounts have less than 200 miles on them i just did them and trans mount! What flex pipes?

Flexible exhaust piping it almost looks like corrugated steel, with how much torque our car produces they can have a tendency to crack headers you put this flex piping on to give some play..... flex pipes had a mesh section over the corrugated steel of the flex pipe and wound up almost imploding on itself, causing a greatly diminished flow, when you get a flex pipe make sure that there's no mesh inside the pipe......I've heard it happen and read it happened to another member

I would just call Cory and work out a deal for headers and software. You wont find used Kleemann headers for much less than BNIB price. You may as well wait until you have the extra $100-$200 and get them new..

so it's 'not' recommended to use flex pipe?

i never used the flex pipes they are sitting somewhere if anyone wants them let me know never had any issues and i've racked up some miles on the set up

I added flex section to mine when I had my previous headers. I would also recommend them. However, my MBH headers don't have them … everyone that I have spoken to say they have had no problems with not having the flexes.

Right on on the flow … I had Vibrant 3" turbo flex with interlock liner for better flow.
