SERVICE C.......

So my E63 wants me to visit the stealership. I dont know about all that. From everything I have read on here from you guys it seems like its mostly a waste of money.

Just did the oil change a few days ago. 0W-40 Mobil 1 9.3 qts.
I put new K&N filters a month ago, my indy mech told me just stick with everything OEM, he said the oil in the filters isn't that great for my car, so just replaced the K&N with the OEM air filters.
Need to find a cabin air filter online today and install it. (amazon prime)
Brake fluid doesn't look dirty but will go ahead and get the brake flush done ($80) at the indy shop. (Rear rotors and both front and rear brake pads were changed along with brake flush at 45k about 18months ago, car is now at 61k)
The tranny service was done at 40k at the dealer, is it time to do a tranny flush again???

One more thing, my brakes are squealing when slowing down....I never really coast on the brakes I brake when its needed. There big *** brakes so I use them when there needed...I real on here that alot of people have this problem when coming to a slow stop..i.e. in my street or parking...brake pads are in really good condition...any fixes??
Am I missing anything else? Any thing else you guys recommend?

If you look around a little bit you'll find that the brake squeal, unfortunately, seems normal. I had my brakes done(front and rear) and two days later they were squeaking again. Unless you notice any significant problems with the brakes, I wouldn't worry about them too much.

Same . My car had the brakes done before I picked it up and I thought it was just due to the first few hundred miles on new brakes, but after ~1700 miles, still doing it. I hate that feeling when you pull up in such a nice vehicle and it does something like that...

The trick is to try to find a larger vehicle and brake with it as it slows down! haha, when you're by yourself it's quite embarrassing though especially since the brakes are so good..

Man that sucks..they just started doing that about a week ago...it has been cold on some days (30F..and then 73F the next day here in Dallas, alot of ups and down in temps...I thought may be that is whats causing it?

Either way, I don't really want to just accept that they will just make that noise and that its normal....I am sure there has got to be a fix on a car that cost 100k + new.
I went to my friends house the other night and when I walked in he asked me if I pulled up in a old school bus!

Motor mounts and tranny mount was replaced at 40k as well.

I need to find a fuel filter DIY on here.

You can try to find a fix for the brakes but if I remember there was a post that I looked up about a Service adviser telling someone it was "normal". I think the only fix is aftermarket pads or rotors? I could be wrong though.. Search around a little, I'm dealing with the same weather down in San Antonio, I don't think it's temp related.

Just an update, dealer said brakes pads all around at 85 percent and front rotors 70 percent after measurement and rear rotors at 85-90 percent. He said he has a few e63 's in here with some intermittent squealing. He said the only thing he can do is change rotors and pads all around and do a brake flush and that they apply a special anti squeal which will help.
