Yea you're probably right

Nice piece
A common mod here in Sweden is to delete std coolingsystem and add a big Setrab cooler or 'laminova' cooler.
In that way you gain volume and more efficient cooling.
But it´s not a good mod for winterusage without any thermostate(laminova works fine thou).
This oilpan will work fine in winter thou.

We have done this on a few customer cars here too If figured that a cheaper and more effective method would be these pans. A lot of guys don't really want to chop factory lines and go to braided and external cooler

These pans look way better in person than on pics just saw them a couple days ago. Great product.

I still would like to see some results of your testing wrt temp improvements
Not sure I agree just because the motor can heat soak the tranny does as well because that's due to the super charger. Once the tranny is at operating temp then what's the difference? I suspect this new pan will help prevent the tranny increasing above normal if and when that ever happens or at least slow the uncreae rate. Can you share some of your imperial observations? I'd love to see that it keeps the tranny cooler on average by a certain number of degs in different driving conditions even if they're approx values.
Thanks.

06 e55 amg
Ok guys late update got the car to speedriven last week for trans service and pan install. Car isnt driven in the winter. Had the pan done in raw metal. Man does it look awesome!!! I dont have anyway to monitor the trans temp or anything but I could say that it does feel crisper(if that makes sense). The true test will come in the summer when Ill get to abuse the car. All in all amazing product and service! Thanks Speedriven
