We need alcohol sensor and E85 mapping!
I set my car up for E85 a few years back and then decided that pump E85 was not safe enough to run all the time , as the mixture changed to often and could lead AFR ratio changes and or to much timing for less Alcholo content. with and onboard alcohol sensor, it would be a game changer, if you could build the maps for it in the ECU, like the 2014 GM and other brands are doing.
Below is a 2014 cyc air flow map for flex fuel for the new GM direct injection v8. I been doing some E85 testing on this engine and saw the aggressive timing maps built in by GM for 2014.These maps did not exsist on thier 2013 models but is a nice bonus for the new engines. Notice the 6 deg advance with E85 at 4800 rpm! I tested mixed ratios of e85 and 93 octane and the onboard alcohol sensor would add less timing, once it saw lower alcohol content. In short, this is like having a built in RACE tune! The GM motor can run on 87 or 93 and make its rated HP but once you add 100% E85, power jumps 20-30 hp and 40-45 TQ (N/A engine) by just using the yellow gas hose at the pump!

Below is a new sensor coming out that can help us in running E85 more effectively and be able to just add E85 and let the sensor adjust your tune to full Race! There are some other sensors out already but wanted to share the new one from haltech as well.

this is what is being installed into my pcar so i can run flex fuel have rolling anti lag and a true launch control. the system also runs my twin pump fuel system which allows the walbro 465 to run daily pressure under 5 p[si and the big magnafuel kicks in over 5 psi
