South Florida guys, PBIR tonight Jan 3rd
I am going to drive up to the track in Jupiter from the Keys since the weather looks pretty decent other than the 25mph wind (hopefully not a headwind).
I will be in my CTS-V but will be cool to meet new guys or old friends from here if anyone is available to go hit the test n tune starting at 6:30 tonight.
Weather looks to be right at 60, humidity high like normal in the 60s with the air density around 100ft

That V is no joke. Impressive car to say the least. Good to see both of you again.
I ordered some drag radials last night after watching my tires blow off each time.

I just woke up lol. Didn't leave the track until midnight and got home after 3am. The consensus was that nobody could get traction. Really sucks with the cool weather there was.
Track was pretty busy so only got 3 runs with the multiple stoppages to clean track from cars breaking or whatever, the car before me on my last run actually took off and then all the sudden one tire/axle broke off the car hooking him toward the wall, was pretty crazy watching that. I was only able to run 10.8@131 on a 1.75 60ft, tranny was shifting weird from 2nd to 3rd also which I have no idea why because it never does that driving it everyday on the street so I think that might have hurt my trap by 1 or 2mph.
There was a guy we know there with his GT-R though that cranked out a 9.6@150 on 21" wheels and street tires. He said he could only get a 1.6x best 60ft ft and car is good for like 1.3 or 1.4, same with a tuned all wheel drive Audi S6 saying he kept spinning to much.
And then FinanceMike's CLS55 piloted by Redbull was spin city running like 12.6@116 or something like that. I think Mike told me he went faster stock than Elliot ran with the upper pulley and headers it has now haha
Sorry Elliot ![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
I think I will go back to a different track (Gainesville) around Jan 18th and try again.

I can tell you this, I felt horrible not being able to get any traction! I was pissed that I had to completely let off the throttle in order for it to spot spinning. They over sprayed the water box, so there was no way to keep the front tires dry.

This place is a joke.
Thanks for posting the numbers. Same track problems here when it's cold the humidity creates dew on the track at night, and all the street cars driving through the water box too...It's not so easy getting those perfect runs, especially when it's busy and you only get 3 tries to get it right.Oh, and don't f#@k with godzilla LOL. I saw one on the street recently, looked stock but I stayed back haha

I'm just busting your chops E!!! I'm happy seeing the 116mph trap seeing how you let off completely after the first 100 feet, then stabbed it again. I feel it has a 117-118mph trap in it with traction. Maybe it's time for a heat exchanger.
David, I'll say it again. I'm blown away by your car. The stands went silent when you trapped 131+. I'm on the bandwagon...

A friend of mine sent me a text earlier asking if that was me on the Facebook page of PBIR. I said I had no idea and had to go look and that last pic was the top pic on their page.

Tires are good, I stopped on my way home.
Thanks again for being the wheel man under the circumstances.
Text me if you find the heat exchanger. We'll work some sort of trade out..
