W211 E55 Bluetooth Question

I have a 2005 E55. In the center console which is the console with the sliding cover it has the little connector in the back of the console that appears to point down. Just begging for the bluetooth adapter. Couple of questions for members:
1. What Mercedes OEM Bluetooth "puck/adapter" do I buy?
2. Will this work with my Samsung Galaxy 4 Android?
3. If it will work will it also allow me to play music from my phone via bluetooth through the factory stereo?

Thanks everyone...

bluetooth puck

the bluetooth puck you will need is the most lastest "puck". the part number is: B67876131, the MHI bluetooth interface module is called. you can find one on ebay for anywhere from $100 to $200. go to the website: wireless4mb.com and there you can see all the phones that will work seemlessly with the module. and even if your phone is not listed, it will still work, just may not be able to pull up your address book onto your comand unit etc etc, but still be able to answer your calls via the steering wheel controls and talk thru your stereo system. that site will have all the information you will need, the access code to place in your phone to get it to work and anything else you may need. the playing the music part: i am not quite sure of that, but once you get it, just give it a try unless thats the main reason for the purchase to be able to listen to music. no one has ever mentioned it and many members have used the ipod connections to listen to music instead of that route. hope this helps.

Interested in this as well. I have an HTC One and would love to be able to use Pandora, Spotify, or my own MP3s with bluetooth, but I don't want to drop $200 on something that won't do anything for me.

Yeah...I agree. I hope there is someone out there that has either done this or tried that can advise. Dropping $200 to just find out it does the phone is not for me. I want to be able to play music form my IPad or Android phone via bluetooth.

The Bluetooth puck only works for calls it doesn't allow you to stream music through the system. The best way to use Bluetooth to stream music is to buy a iPod or aux Bluetooth adapter.
