it's a minor weight savings, but be careful, underhood temps may cause premature paint wear..

This place is a joke.
The paint gets hotter in the Florida sun (160F) than it does from radiant engine heat. I personally debunked this one myself.

I've had it off since I bought the car plus the rain guard shield so heat escapes through the grill

and nothing gets wet ?!!?!?!?!? really ?! I use touchless drive-thru car wash machine in winter... (I got a daily pass). .. it pours large amounts of water on the car.

Ive have had mine off for almost two years now. Daily driven...car washes, torrential downpours, track days, drag strips, heat, blah blah blah....no issues.

Do it.

considering the ceramic paint gets baked on, I wouldn't worry about under hood temps prematurely wearing the paint
