Next SUV/Truck opinions appreciated thnku

SUV/Truck-Option Im leaning to.. Please give pros/cons esp ride comfort/POWER & overall likes/ dislikes thnx for answers input!

*My choices 1) 2010 ML63 AMG, (less than 25k miles each car)*Or close second 2012 Jeep SRT8, would be modified w/set of twins! Bout to test drive by 1 see if they live up the hype thanks, yes both will be modded ML 63 FULL Weistec build etc(yes the v12tt monsta' stays for life)

As an owner of a 1st gen SRT8 Jeep, I'm partial to the second option. I test drove the WK2 and it seemed to have a damn good launch and a much nicer interior than mine. However, it's still the "slowest" out of the sport SUVs.

When it comes time to trade up, we'll be looking at the WK2 SRT or the X5M.

With a set of twins I'd go with the Jeep SRT8. I love the new body style for the SRT8! The only thing I wouldn't be a fan of, though I have not looked into much of the inside, is that the Jeep cannot compare to the ML in terms of comfort, luxury, or style. Either way it's a win-win situation.

Thx 4 all replies I'll test drive both this week/wknd tho I have feeling the SRT-VIII from looks dept excites me more + chubby twinns shoehorned in her bonnet sound irresistable. But No denying MB luxury interior etc I will report back w/ my findings thnx again! Ohh ya what about ride handling & just cruising comfort?

I suspect ML shines here??

We just got rid of our '06 Jeep Srt8 and replaced it with an '09 ML63. There is no comparison in comfort and ride quality. The Jeep was very harsh compared to the ML. Power felt the same though.

I vote the 14 Srt8 Jeep, and whomever said its not as luxurious as the ML63 go drive the srt8 the ML63 is a toy compared! Now them older jeeps like 2006 where a joke in the aspect of comfort like one said...

I know this isn't on your options list but why not a G wagon or Range Rover V8 Supercharged?

Yes, I haven't seen many people modding the Rover but comfort, luxury and

power it stays right next to the benz if not better in some aspects.

I had an 06 RRS S/C and didn't have any problems with it except a small air suspension fault due to one of the air line fittings that needed to be tightened.

I don't think they spend any more time in the shop than their competitors.

I have tech friends at the local LR dealership and none of them would want to drive one daily.

Well as far as the Porsche suv, G wagon, & RR go.. I can't stand looks of G wagons & P car even worse, the Suprchrgd RR looks great etc BUT I live for modding.. IE ML63 is capable of 1k bhp ala' Weistec & SRT8 is capable of 1000+ @ the freakin wheels & looks the part..

Though I really do luv MB's we will see after test drives.. Thnx keep replies coming! This is viable info vs 2-3 canned magazine paragraphs that mostly ramble on fuel economy & what accelerates faster from 30-50 50-70 etc

Making power is the easy part, keeping the drive train happy is another thing. With that said, good luck keeping the AWD system happy.

Any RR SC will leave a big hole in your wallet. The seat position is nice but that's about all. A family member owns a LX570 and DAMN it's nice in the interior but at $70-$80k just not worth for ME spending.

ML63 is both beautiful and sounds amazing! Can't go wrong with a SUV that smokes most cars HAHa!
