Hi everyone

I get my 05 e55 side mirror seal and replace them. it is easy to replace the seal just follow the step below.

1.Take off the mirror cover that you can see instruction on youtube, different model but same way.

2.Open the door and than open the inside cover and disconnect of power mirror cable

3.Remove mirror screw (T-20) and you can take whole mirror off

4.Remove old seal and put new seal

5.Install back everything that all.

I get total 5 set the seal and I install one still have 4 in hand, if you are interesting please let me know.

Where did you get the seals from? As far as I know they do not sell just the mirror seals anywhere.

Awesome...no more cracked mirror gaskets. Installed really well. Not an exact fit for the my 05 E55 (as you said they were aftermarket) so I just punched another hole for the wires and the fit is perfect around the mirror where it matters.

Thank for such fast shipping.

I fought a clip for over an hour and found what I believe is a Serbian video of an alltenative route. Put another way, I did the other mirror in no time. Common sense prevailed on re-intallation. No stress on any of kind the screws. Order of installation is part of that. The cover clips are a PITA and I have no time to go through the mirror glass removal or other options. This is perfectly sound imho.

What's the best source for these seals in 2025? I'm looking for decent quality at a reasonable price. Thank you!
