So far 230 miles, and no hiccup / P0106...after all kinds of driving, up/down, highway, bumper to bumper.
I'm glad they got it sorted out for you!! I have been unable to get mine fixed, I see however that you have an 80mm TB, I have the 82 and actually think quite a few guys fixed their hiccup by just switching from the 82 down to an 80 so idk

I had the 82tb, installled a new tune for it.......this is where my memory is fuzzy. I dont remember if I had this hiccup before the tune for the 82tb or if it came afterwards. I then switched back to the 80tb and reinstalled the tune for the 80tb but still had the problem. I am going to switch back to 82tb with BIP tune after 1k miles - assuming still no hiccup and p0106.

I dont mean to be rude. But, I have to call bull**** on you. It seems to me that you have some other agenda or something and hoping that my hiccup /P0106 does not go away. If so, maybe you can start your own thread or something.

Denroll said it also is he bs too? Dude I hope it works out for you
Jack, you should be fine at this point. Tony and I spoke about the mileage factor, and if it has been this long, and it comes back we would be more inclined to say it is a mechanical fault. We will continue to work with you should anything arise. Like I have said before, I have a 82mm, and never ever threw that code. A combination of a solid tune goes along way.
Hit me up or Tony if you have any further questions.

How does this part work? I would be resetting mine daily if this is the case. This is non-intuitive. I would have thought adaptations would help mpg as it learns, not make it worse, or am I not thinking about this right?
No more hiccup and no more P0106 CEL!!!! The only change is the new BIP tune. For those that said it is a tune related issue, well they were right....at least for me.
Those with the hiccup issue should jump on this and have BIP resolve the issue for them. Whatever that may cost, it'll be a lot less than an engine rebuild when the motor pops
Fair question. I would explore whether a mutually acceptable arrangemnt can be reached
Weistec is looking into this in an effort to resolve the issue on my vehicle. Hopefully a fix will be found which can be guaranteed to customers
