Do you know when a companies reputation gets better?
When you actually have happy customers vouch for you and recommend your product to their friends.
And the only ones who have vouched for ADV1 is people that work for them (Like Legitlifestyle)

When you have developed a successful reputation then you can align yourselves with the likes of HRE, BBS, Volk, Rays etc...
Until then continue to act like a baller. Hey your making money right? Hand over your hard earned cash to a kid with a degree in marketing who all he did was take your phone call.
Ironic you call Miami and your wheels ship out from MHT in California?

If you buy wheels for the baller lifestyle and marketing scheme (when they should be putting that money into like R&D and overhead), then you are truly an idiot. Im sorry if it comes off harsh but its my opinion.
It will be ten years before i even consider buying anything from ADV1 or is it MHT? Truth be told ADV1 doesn't have the reputation that the wheels above have.

Dont trust anyone making wheels from Miami............That includes COR, Strasse, ADV1, and im sure many more i've left out.
How is possible that so many wheel manufacturers are from the same are in the furthest point in the country? How strategic is that? I guess its bc Miami is a wheel manufacturing mecca or its capital of scam artists. Dont you watch America Most Wanted, Miami Vice, Cocaine Cowboys. You think these people are true manufacturers or are they leisure suit larry in disguise?
Come on man wake up
MHT. But hey, ignorance is bliss, so can't blame the consumers that aren't in the know. Guess his degree in marketing is proving to be effective in one way or another..

I was not praising ADV. They make stunning wheels but I would never spend that kind of money on wheels! I was just shocked that are not saying a word!

HRE's have always been at top of my list for wheels!

I know you're looking for concave with a lip so you may want to take a look at Work's Gnosis line. Some really sick wheels in that line.

Oh my goodness. I know of the gnosis line but haven't seen those before. Those are PERFECTION!

OP, I think you've found your wheels. Work are built with incredible quality, the downside the is the price and long build time, lol.

stay away from DPE. A buddy of mine had a 2 piece set of wheels from them. The Barrel cracked lengthwise around the barrel on 5 wheels iirc and then he gave up on them. They were terrible to deal with and it was a well known issue.

ISS Forged is owned by Janoy which is really a front for a graphics vinyl sticker company.
He offered to sponsor my freinds RX7 bc he gets a lot of magazine coverage (i mean a lot of publicity)
Then after making my freind wait six months for wheels, he backs out of the deal and offers a partial sponsorship where they can do it at cost. And this six weeks before the SEMA show. He didn't even have the nerve to do it himself, he got his employee to give my freind the bad news via FB. The owner cited potential divorce as the main issue. I know they cut their own centers but that's about it.
This kid i know at ISS Forged told me he considers his company to be one of the top wheel producers and ISS Forged is among reputable companies like BBS, HRE, and Work. Bahahaha

55fanatic: Go to wheelflip.com/browse and you'll find a TON of VS-XX's. Those are a dime a dozen. Way too common IMO. I'm sure someone has some 19's or stepped 20's for sale at a steal of a price. All that needs to be done is a re-drill or adapters.

moosejaw: Good to know about your buddy's experience with ISS. Always good to know about others' experience with wheel companies.

Any who, these wheel companies are more or less the same thing as each other. They all get the barrels from one big manufacturer, alum. blanks, and use the CNC machine to cut out the design inputted in the computer. You would be surprised how much it costs to make one wheel, and the actual markup on them once its finished.

Funny about how people are busting ADV wheels...

So what do you think about Renntech? They are now using ADV to build their wheels. They could pick anyone to work with. So clearly things have improved at ADV.

Disclaimer: I have a set on order.... And haven't seen a better looking wheel. Period. Sometimes you just have to pay for aesthetics.

I'll keep you posted.

Are you off your rocker?
Renntech is using ADV1 to build their wheels? ADV1 doesnt build wheels
So Renntech is using ADV1 to have MHT build their wheels?
How messed up is that?

ADV1 is a showroom with salespeople that have marketing degrees!
You could argue how low has Renntech sunk?

By the way sometimes you just have to pay for a better education (aesthetics)
