Where to buy e63 headlights good quality
I'm doing e63 conversion on my e55 where's a good place to buy the 63 headlights ? Saw a couple on eBay aftermarket brand are they decent ? And wanted to ask can I use my factory e55 bulbs and ballast or do I need to install hid ? Thanks in advance

63 owners have accepted the fact that the 55 is faster. why cant 55 owners accept the fact that the 55 is ugly and stop doing conversions.. it never looks wright. IMHO

Depends on how you plan to do it. There are multiple ways to achieve what you are trying to do.
1. Use your current headlights - buy a couple of used facelift lamps for cheap with broken tabs etc .. and retrofit the inserts.
2. Buy decent facelift headlights and re-wire to make the facelift lights work.
As far as your bulbs are concerned, depends on what you currently have. If you already have HIDs then the job is more extensive and more expensive, cheapest route is to retrofit inserts. If you have halogens, it is quite a bit cheaper overall.
Ebay is your friend.
Care to elaborate here? Isn't that what Mercedes basically did was bolt on some cosmetic parts? Are you saying that E63s don't look right?

This place is a joke.
Never was a fan of a pointy beak slapped onto a round car. Not even when the factory did it. The funny thing is, had the pointed front been released in 2003, and the round front in 2007, everyone would want the round one. It has less to do with what looks
better and more to do with people trying to make their car look newer than it is. Most people can't believe mine is an '04. The 211 body style doesn't look dated, and the 212 looks like an oversized Camry.

Matter of personal preference for me. I like the "pointy beak". I especially like the facelift door mirrors. I hated the older style mirrors. The headlights were just a minor update in my mind, but completed the look.
