Shaky Steering....

Was wondering if any of you 04' E55 owners have experienced any slight "shaking" (of the steering wheel) when driving in the speed range of about 10-60 mph? The car only has 650 mi. on it. Haven't noticed any drifting to the right or any other significant problems. The car has been babied thus far. Any help is much appreciated! Thanks!

I notice that the Contis need to warm up before they smooth out. Maybe you just don't drive them enough.

Have had the car about 6 weeks, and only 650 miles on it. It is mainly a weekend car. Will try and take it out more often and for longer drives to see if that remedies the prob. Am a new member and i will post pics soon. Thanks for the reply and the help!

Shakiness

That sounds like classic wheel imbalance or, possibly, misalignment of the front end. I certainly advise having your dealer check both for you.

To be quite honest, it is my family's car. I believe that they (parents) have already had an alignment done to it about a week or two ago. Obviously, the problem is still unresolved. Any other suggestions or possible probs? Thanks!!

alot of things can cause the wheel to shake, wrong tire pressure, imbalanced tire, i would take it back to the dealer and have them fix it and get it right
