I wish it was simple and easier for us Cali peeps to run headers.
Sounds like a true beast. You and RedBull have that raw unadulterated rumble at idle that opens up like a lion's roar on the throttle!!

Why not use one piece mandrel bent stainless 3 inch tube instead of all the welds, would this not be stronger as well as more cosmetically pleasing.
No disrespect intended.
Was price or availability the decision maker? Please do not tell me weight.
Here in Canada the pipes would rust quickly with the salt and brine used, especially at the welds.

I am not sure what your question is but in order to build an exhaust there will be welds, as it's a full custom exhaust hand made not something that's pre done off eBay that doesn't even fit right

i don't have any sound so cant watch the vid but it looks good. id at least spray the welds, they will rust and if the exhaust fails it will be at a welded point because you loose your aluminized coating and your just using steel welding wire. going to 304 stainless with stainless welding wire wouldn't have been a huge jump in price

Well Berti, what was meant is that up here in the far north we have shops that take a 10 foot piece of stainless tube and duplicate the pipe routing under the car, this means that you get a one piece custom bent exhaust pipe, bulb or flare attachment and in your case the original muffler would be welded to the pipe, one weld and strong. Have not seen your method used in a while that is why I questioned your setup. Again no offence.
Did not know you could buy a custom set up from E bay, I prefer to use the specialists in their field. L+N Bent Pipes been bending stainless for about 30 years. Show quality exhaust on just about any car.

Ear ****: W211 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG with 3-Inch Exhaust
![](https://mbworld.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/W211-Mercedes-Benz-E63-AMG-with-3-inch-Exhaust-Featured.jpg)
You are about to hear the magic that occurs when someone puts a full three-inch exhaust and C63 mufflers on a W211 E63 AMG. It is a beautiful phenomenon when a car can move you just as vigorously with its exhaust noise as it can when it’s slamming your skull back into the headrest. Cheers […]
