The guy I bought it from had those on there. Wouldn't be an issue if it was just a summer car...but right now it's my DD. I am switching out to the Conti DWS tires. Shopping around for a new DD since I want to take better care of my E55 and keep it around awhile longer.

Out Of Control!!
had similar issue earlier this winter, similar conditions, damage not as bad... run some snow tires in the winter, and it wont happen again.
glad to see car and driver ok

Once I settle on a DD, probably a truck, then I'll be good to go. I'm shopping around a bit while I wait for the car to be done.
2011 GMC Sierra Denali (not likely)
2009 Chevy Silverado (likely)
Lots of house projects to do and would be nice to haul the GSX-R again.

Lol. Well, it's not summer right now.....
Driving on summer tires in those conditions is begging to get into a collision. Why take the risk? Either don't drive it in that weather, or get some winter tires so these things don't happen. A set of winter rubber is far less costly than damages/repairs/accident history/insurance issues.
Anyways. Best of luck getting her back on the road.
