I do feel like it is you following me around jabbing at me. I have always helped everyone in any way I can. There are plenty of members that will tell you the same. I've given parts away for free, meet people at the track to help them run, I've even driven other AMGs for other members.
I'm glad he "did it first". But remember, he never gave me the info I was asking for. I even apologized for my behavior. And I left it alone. Once I'm done and back at the track everyone will know what's in the car and how it works.

He is reading too much into things. I subscribed to his thread to see some progress and he gets all defensive for some reason!
And I'm not trying to beat your times as my car is a different platform that weighs around 500 lbs more. Thats awesome you went faster but you are comparing apples to oranges. My car weighs 4320 without me in it.

This place is a joke.
FWIW, my car weighs 4350lbs with me, half tank of gas, and stock wheels with drag radials on the back. That includes tool kit and no spare (2004 didn't come with one). The CLS being heavier makes sense, with bigger/wider body panels, wider factory wheels, etc. I'm not sure it's quite 500lbs heavier though.

Again, this is just from personal experience. My friend was on the same scale as me in an e55 and it was 3900 (without pano). Theres a possibility that your scale is off from mine just like when I weigh myself at home and it says 202 and at the gym it says 212. Theres a difference between being accurate and being precise. Regardless they are different platforms. E55 is lighter and is regarded to have an awesome coefficient of friction.
The complete build took less than 1 month and if you look at some of the pictures the craftsmanship is top notch. I've only had the car to the track 3 times but I've managed to cut 3 tenths off my time each time I go. Things take awhile to dial in... At this point, I'm just happy to be at the top of the list on drag times for the fastest cls. The one under me has head work and a few other things done to it.
I can't wait to see what RBJ will bring to the table with his TT E55. No reason to get defensive.

I'm about 180 lbs, but my car was weighed after dinner.
I used the scale at the track, so not sure if it's 100% accurate.
Anyhow, looking forward to another turbo build, and thanks for posting the info on your CLS. I don't have any intention of going turbo on my car, I figure if I wait another 8 years I can afford the factory TT E class, or CLS.

Now if you could, please stop posting your "heavy" cars info in my thread. You have your own.

You have posted in his thread and many others about weistec or anything to do with them so now you don't want some of those people posting in yours? Why are you so special ?
If you can't stand criticism or others input maybe you should not have made a thread about your "build" .

I'm glad you have a hard on for me. I guess that's what makes me special.

Should really be comparing apples to apples, which your not doing. We are talking about a full weight cls vs RBJ's stripped down e. Of course the difference between the two isn't 500 lbs when both are full weight. So, if the difference is 200 lbs between the two full weight and then RBJ strips 200 lbs, its not far off from that 500 lbs. Either way, both are quick cars.

The weight of your e is irrelevant, since it is full weight. The comparison here is RBJ's stripped e vs clstt full weight cls.
