Anyone know the Part# for the keyless go module inside the door?
After 2 new replacement handles on the front passenger side still don't work, I'm thinking it may be whatever the electrical harness in the handle plug into inside the door. I can't seem to come up with the proper search term on the parts sites. I'm soo tired of it not functioning. Now my driver's side is intermittently doing it so I may replace both. I'm assuming there's a relay box or module inside the door. Anyone have an idea?

Are the modules dependent on the door? I ask because I'm Googling around and came across these
for about 50 bux a piece. They don't seem to mention needed to be for specific doors.
It's for my front passenger door. I'd probably also buy the front driver's side module as well since that one is intermittently not working either now

Thank so much. Follow up question. If my picture designates a side and front or rear replacement, should't I be looking for 2 part numbers? If that's the case, are you saying the parts you listed, "211 820 23 75" or "211 820 40 75" are one for the left front, one for the right front?
I just want to make sure I'm approaching this properly.

Front door comes with only one module, it called a "bottom center keyless module",,
"23 75" & "40 75" are the same, just MB provides these "2" #s as a VIN spec...

So this one module handles BOTH front doors? Seems a little odd. Then I'd think if one side went out, the other should have too. So what I'm hearing is that if I buy THIS module, it will handle both of my front doors?

BTW; i want you to be sure, some of E55's NOT equipped with keyless go modules, and some does,
there are another door modules in each door called "door control module",
these modules got another Electrical memory function,,
im afraid you have a keyless problem on these...??

My front passenger side stopped working. The handle itself works fine, but will not unlock when I press the button on the handle. I've already spent 350.00 on TWO new passenger side handles, but they still don't work. In the past 2 weeks, my driver's side intermittently will work, but not always. I just lock with he back door button when it's not in a good mood . Could this be what I need, or should i Take it in to have it STAR/DAS'd first? My shop wants 105.00 an hour for STAR/DAS, with a 1 hour minimum, so I hate bringing it in for him to take 10 minutes and go "nope. no codes"
I can get the center antenna module you listed for 145 off Ebay right now. Trying to decide whether to buy it or get checked first...hmmmm..
Oh, it just says center dash area in everything I'm finding. Can I get tot he module from the footwell or does the center stack have to come out?

I don't think a dealer would charge to tell you nope no codes. There is a control unit in each rear door and also the trunk. The modules would most likely need programming and I wouldn't leave it to shops that don't have the proper tools to attempt it. Even most independent shops have Chinese fake/cloned/hacked software and multiplexers. I don't know what any of these control units would be the issue, but here are some numbers. I also would assume you didn't buy new door handles based on price you paid for two which could also be an issue.

Actually one was used off Ebay and the other was OEM brand new in the bag. Still no dice. I'll hit the stealership.

At this point i'm starting to lookup Xentry STAR/DAS setups on Ebay. Looks like for a grand you can get the full deal with laptop. From China, naturally, but should work and pay for itself in no time. I might as well do the self-tests and resets before I actually go the hardware route.
