lets be honest anyone thinking gee i need to be inventive and come out with a $1600 dollar intake for a 10plus car is not doing it for the good of the performance world on the 55.

Mine did not yellow.... For 63.
I paid the $2000 like 5 years ago. I loved the look of them!
Performance gains were nearly non-existant (15hp)

Just sharing my experience - though I did read on here that some sets DID yellow

Smile Custom Intake

No matter what, any aftermarket intake is going to be better than stock. Anyone can sit here and whine about costs and how effective it might be, if you love your car than it is priceless on improving performance and letting your engine breath. Just my personal thought. I grew up rebuilding rotary engines & drifting. Personally I made my own intake from scratch BUT I bought the Carbonio inlet tubes because compared to stock, its a big difference. When I built my intake I wanted to cut out as much metal as possible to eliminate heat and after many, many hours of research decided to buy the Carbonio inlet tubes to compliment my DIY intake. Just imagine walking around breathing with a towel over your mouth or breathing with a relief respirator, it makes a difference. I highly recommend Carbonio inlet tubes and getting some kind of aftermarket intake or making your own!

Nice intake, but do you have any graphs or proof that the stock intake is better than the one you have? Other than making that supercharger scream I did not notice any gains with the spectre filters you are using. I had this carbon box quite some time ago and loved it but it never worked right with the 82mm tb.

Weren't you sick to your stomach about the thousands to fix your car after an aftermarket part that spins considerably faster than the stock system was designed for, failed and took out ~2000 in parts and labor of your engine?
Yet you justify an intake system as a matter of "loving your car"

What you just said makes absolutely no sense. You obviously have no common sense of mechanical concepts, but to each their own.
